Nisreen's family went through the same suffering as almost every Syrian family. Due to the indiscriminate bombing of Daraya, Damascus, Nisreen lost two children and a third child lost his hearing. She was afraid to lose others so she fled to Lebanon going through a painful tragic displacement journey. She separated from her husband and became the only breadwinner for her children. Following all these tragic circumstances that she went through, Nisreen works in cleaning houses for a low wage that is not enough to cover their needs.
