Amer is a father of four children, he was injured by a shrapnel in his right hand which led to its damage by 70%, he underwent surgery for it and is now in need of removing the metal skewers from his hand. His inability to work due to the injury and his poor living and financial situations made him unable to afford the costs of treatment.
