Mariam looks at her friends who are going to school in grief. She dreams of becoming like them, but her health condition is sadly ruining her dream. She has had hearing impairment since birth and her condition has been deteriorating over the past 3 years. Her condition has also caused her to develop mental impairment with decreased concentration and attention span. She had big difficulty in education which caused her to leave school. Socially, she has a big difficulty interacting with her peers which caused her to become very lonely and shy. Maram is in severe need for hearing aids so she can live like all the other children in her age. Would you be there for her?
