Duaa is a child who lives with her family in a modest house in the city of Al-Bab after a difficult journey of displacement. Duaa suffers from burns in her lower back and abdomen that have made it difficult for her to move and go to school. Her father has also been hurt and is suffering greatly, but he tries hard to provide at least the basic necessities of life for his nine children.
