A family of seven lives in a small room that does not fit them all and their belongings are all piled up. Maryam lives with her elderly husband who suffers from a herniated disk, vision impairment and high blood pressure. She also lives with her daughter, who suffers from back problems and needs to undergo examination to find out the cause of the pain, and her granddaughter who suffers from sinuses and also with her son, grandson, and her widowed daughter. The room doesn’t have enough space, so the girls sleep sometimes at their relative’s house. The family lives off the income they receive from UNHCR along with occasional help from some friends and relatives who assist with basic needs and medicines. Maryam and the men in her family are actively searching for a job with no luck amid the current economic conditions. The family accumulated a lot in late rent until the owner of the house asked them to leave. The family is in need of money to cover basic necessities, please stand by their side.
