From displacement to oppression and deprivation... Aunt Wafaa sought refuge in Lebanon for a better life, but harsh circumstances confronted her. She resides in a simple tent lacking the necessities of life, most notably a washing machine, forcing her and her daughters to wash clothes by hand in this cold weather. She suffers from harsh living conditions after her husband passed away, her son was arrested, and her daughters' husbands are missing. She relies on a meager income from charitable people that barely covers anything.
