Hanan lived many tragedies alone; she has no one to support her in her old age and illness. Hanan emigrated from Syria to Lebanon to seek safety with her daughter and her late husband who died from cancer some time ago after a long journey of treatment. She now lives with her widowed daughter and grandchildren with no income or any source of support amid harsh living. Hanan suffers from vision blurring and the beginning of vision loss. The doctors confirmed that she needs to undergo a glaucoma operation. Hanan needs someone to comfort her as soon as possible and protect her from losing her vision so that she can raise her grandchildren, protect them from homelessness, and live among them in good health.
