Ahmed is an ambitious young man who defied the circumstances of war and displacement, becoming a partner in a shop to provide for his family. His situation was good, and he was preparing to get married and start his own family. However, his partner betrayed him, taking a large portion of the goods and a sum of money meant for the suppliers and then fleeing. Ahmed's father suffered a stroke from the heartbreak, forcing Ahmed to sell everything he owned to pay for his father's treatment and to repay the suppliers.
