In 2016, Mohammad thought he was escaping the siege, unaware that he was stepping into an endless darkness. He was arrested while attempting to cross into regime-controlled areas, beginning a harrowing journey through the brutal depths of security prisons. From Kuweires Airport to Damascus, and finally to the infamous Sednaya Prison, Mohammad endured unimaginable torture and spent years within merciless walls.
He emerged from detention with a broken body, only to be met by crushing poverty and the immense responsibility of providing for his entire family.
Today, Mohammad lives with his elderly mother and three young children in a modest home, working at a stone workshop for a meager income that barely meets their most basic needs. As he strives to rebuild his life, Mohammad desperately needs our support. Will you be the helping hand that gives him hope once more?
