Because of a false accusation, he was thrown into the depths of prison on charges of terrorism, while his only "terrorism" was dreaming of a free homeland where justice prevails. The only thing that added to the harshness of his cell was the news of his eldest son's death, taken by a deadly shell, leaving an unhealed wound in his heart. Imad was released last December, returning to the ruins of his destroyed home, to walls that had grown tight with lost dreams. He now lives with his parents, siblings, and their families in a house too small for them, haunted by debts, while he dreams only of reuniting his shattered family once again.
