In 2017, Abdel Moneim found himself behind the walls of Sednaya Prison, separated from his family and his four children, who grew up in his absence. After his release, life remained just as difficult his responsibilities had multiplied, and the challenges of providing for his family were greater than ever. Now, he lives with his family and one of his married sons in a shared home. Abdel Moneim works tirelessly in a small firewood and diesel shop, but the income is not enough to meet the needs of everyone. The cost of living is high, and the weight of his responsibilities is heavy. Abdel Moneim needs support to provide a more stable life for his family and regain his strength after the hardships he has faced.
