Under a fabric roof, a large family lives in a tent that barely accommodates them. Their only source of income is the UN card, which is not enough to cover even the most basic necessities. The husband is unable to work due to the lack of job opportunities, and mounting debts chase them with no means to repay. As the month of Ramadan arrives, their suffering intensifies, as even the simplest essentials of life have become a heavy burden. Returning to Syria is not an option—their home there is completely destroyed. Today, all they have left is hope that relief will come soon.
