Geschichte
Basma, a seven-year-old girl, has known little of life beyond pain.
A sudden fire engulfed the family’s home, leaving her with severe burns and disfigurement on her face and hands—injuries that have altered her life permanently. Several members of her family were also affected.
At present, Basma lives with her parents in shared accommodation consisting of only two unfurnished rooms. The family has no stable source of income; her father works as a laborer or in temporary jobs, often taking his daughter with him wherever he goes.
They do not possess legal residency documents (“Kimlik”) and are unable to repay their accumulating debts. What remains to them is hope—hope that someone will extend a helping hand.
Let us stand by Basma and her family, and help restore a measure of the safety and dignity that the fire has taken from them.
