Amer is a father of eight children. He was forced to flee with his family after losing both of his legs as a result of shelling that targeted his city. He is now unable to move, work, or provide for his household. Today, Amer lives with his family of ten in a single room in a displacement camp that lacks even the most basic necessities of life. They rely solely on charitable aid when it is available. Amer needs a helping hand to regain the ability to secure a dignified life for his family.
