Noor… a child who came into this world carried on her parents’ dreams after a long wait, but her destiny was heavier than her small shoulders. Congenital nephrotic syndrome and kidney failure turned her earliest days into a battle that can only be endured with patience and prayer. For ten days now, Noor has been lying in the intensive care unit, surrounded by machines monitoring her weak heartbeat, and by doctors watching her condition moment by moment. Her tiny body is trying with all its strength, while her parents stand by her bedside, hiding their fear behind faith that God does not forsake anyone. Today, Noor is in need of treatment and of hands extended in support to ease the burden on her parents’ hearts, until a door of healing opens for her soon, God willing.
