Uncle Burhan’s family is going through a very harsh chapter. His diabetes and blocked arteries now threaten his leg with amputation, while the mother suffers from chronic illnesses that require daily medication, which the family cannot afford. Their three children are unable to support the household: The daughter is unemployed, the eldest son cannot work because of severe vision problems, and the second son carries the weight of the entire family on his shoulders – with an income that doesn’t even cover the cost of their medicines.
