Geschichte
Umm Anwar lives with her husband and two children in a tent that can barely be called shelter. Its walls are made of concrete blocks, and its roof is torn fabric that offers no protection from the cold or the heat. Inside the tent, there is only simple bedding that is not enough for a child’s comfort, and there is no water or electricity, especially after most of the camp’s residents returned home, leaving them alone in a place stripped of all basic necessities of life.
Her husband works hard for a daily wage. Despite suffering from worsening back disc pain due to the nature of his work, he does everything he can to provide their daily bread, but what he earns is not enough even to cover the cost of food. Small debts have accumulated on the family, and their greatest wish is to return to their city, yet they are unable to afford even the transportation costs.
The family needs support to cover travel expenses and basic living assistance, in the hope of finally finding a way back to a life with more dignity.
