Siham carries the weight of a loss no mother should face, after her son was martyred in the line of duty for his country’s freedom. Since then, life has become increasingly difficult for her and her family, as they no longer have a provider to rely on, and everyday challenges makes it harder due to her age and serious health issues, including diabetes and a heart condition. Her husband is no longer able to work after a leg surgery left him with limited mobility. Even moving around their home, which is on an upper floor, has become a daily struggle. With no steady income, the family is left in a situation of severe financial hardship, barely able to cover their basic needs.
