After years of displacement to the camps, Abdelghafour returned with his wife to their village only to face a harsh reality: their home was completely destroyed. He had no choice but to repair a single room to serve as shelter for them, despite the large debt that accumulated as a result of these repairs. Abdelghafour suffers from an injury that has left him unable to move or work, and he has no source of income or provider. His wife bears the burdens of life alone, from caring for him to securing the most basic household needs, amid extremely difficult living conditions. Today, this family is in need of humanitarian support to help them overcome the effects of displacement and illness, and to restore a minimum level of safety and stability.
