Geschichte
After the area was liberated, Brother Ali returned to his village and found his home destroyed.
So he took his tent, set it up over the rubble of his own house, and began living there with his family. Ali is a father of two children, one of them a newborn, facing life from inside a tent that protects them from neither heat nor cold.
Several years ago, Ali was hit by a bullet in his back, leaving him completely paralyzed and unable to move or work. He used to work as a car mechanic, relying on the strength of his own hands to provide for his family. The injury ended his ability to work and cut off his only source of income, leaving him powerless in front of the growing needs of his wife and children.
Today, this family is living between the ruins of what used to be their home, under a thin sheet of fabric, with a father who can no longer stand or work, but who has not stopped worrying about his children for a single day.
Let’s stand with Brother Ali and his family and help them through this crisis – so his children can have more than a tent over rubble and a future built on fear.
