Geschichte
Taha returned to his village of Sheikh Barakeh only to find his home reduced to ruins. Today, he and his family of eight move between a worn-out tent and a fragment of their shattered house—roofless, barely standing—patched together with scraps of metal that shield them from neither scorching heat nor biting cold. It is a life stripped of the most basic sense of safety or stability.
What weighs heaviest on Taha is not only the destruction, but his helplessness as a father. An accident left him unable to move freely, and the war took both his home and his livelihood. With no income, he watches his seven children grow up surrounded by rubble and deprivation.
Supporting this family means more than rebuilding walls—it means restoring shelter, dignity, and giving these children the chance to grow in safety rather than uncertainty.
