Geschichte
Returning home was not the end of suffering, but the start of a new and harsher struggle than displacement itself. After a long time in northern camps, Uncle Samir and his wife went back to their village to find their house almost destroyed and unlivable. With help from kind people, only a small part was repaired to serve as a modest shelter.Today, they live in extremely difficult conditions, facing the harsh winter cold without being able to afford heating, and struggling to cover even basic expenses. Inside a house that is still unfinished, they quietly fight to secure food and warmth, hoping for a helping hand to ease their hardship.
