Jomaa is a father of nine who returned from displacement to find his home completely destroyed. With nowhere else to go, he set up a tent on the rubble and now lives there with his family. He works for daily wages when work is available, but his income barely covers simple food, while debts continue to grow because of his children’s many needs. His young children are living in a tent that offers no protection from the summer heat or winter cold, and the family often manages on just two meals a day, usually bought on credit.
