The family lives in a residential block inside Shamarekh Camp, under extremely harsh living conditions with very simple and worn-out furniture. The only provider for the family is Mohammad, who works in temporary jobs with a limited income that barely covers the basic necessities of life. His burdens increased even more after the death of his sister’s husband, leaving him responsible not only for his own family but also for three orphaned children. The hardship does not end there. His son Issa was born with cerebral atrophy, a condition that requires continuous medical care and costly treatments beyond the family’s ability to afford. Today, Mohammad stands weighed down by responsibilities and worries, doing his best to provide the simplest needs for the family while caring for his sick child despite the harsh circumstances.
