Fadwa is a widow living with her four children. Her eldest has been disabled since birth due to lack of oxygen; he cannot move and requires constant care and special needs support. Because of this, she is unable to work or leave him alone, while her other children are still young and depend on her for their livelihood. Fadwa also suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure, living under the combined burden of illness and poverty. The family has no source of income other than the generosity of others, and debts have accumulated to the point that she can no longer repay them. Between a bedridden child, a sick mother, and children waiting for their daily sustenance, this family lives in severe hardship, with only a faint hope that a compassionate hand will reach out and ease their heavy burden.
