Geschichte
Abdul Hamid lives with pain that has never left him since the amputation of the front of his left foot.
Every step has become a battle, and every movement reminds him of what he has lost.
On top of that, his left eye is clouded by cataracts that threaten what remains of his sight.
The pain in his body does not stop, and the feeling of helplessness weighs on his heart even more than the illness itself.
He sits among his six children, watching his son work long days as a daily laborer, trying to provide for the household with an income that barely meets their needs.
Abdul Hamid’s pain is not only in his amputated foot but also in the painful feeling that he can no longer be the support for his children as he once was.
