In a small room inside a partially ruined house in Kafranbel, Uncle Ibrahim spends his final days in heavy silence after years of hardship and illness. After a difficult return from displacement, he and his wife found only a cracked room to shelter them from the heat and cold, with no income and no provider. Ibrahim suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed and unable to move. He now needs constant care and medication, while his elderly wife stands by him alone, doing her best to care for him despite her own weakness and limited means. This elderly couple has nothing left to rely on but patience and a simple hope that someone will extend a compassionate hand to ease the pain of illness and the loneliness of old age.
