Geschichte
Since her birth, Nawal has never known life as others do. Her delivery was difficult, and after a few months, her body began to weaken little by little. Later tests revealed that she had suffered from brain hypoxia since birth, which led to quadriplegia. Today, after twenty-three years, Nawal remains bedridden. Her life depends on physiotherapy sessions, vitamins, and constant care to prevent her condition from worsening. Her family lives with daily pain as they watch their daughter confined to her bed, while her father himself suffers from reduced cerebral blood flow and continues to work despite his illness, with a limited income, trying to provide for the household and his daughter’s treatment. A home living between two heavy illnesses…a father worn down by sickness and work, a daughter who has spent her entire life in bed, and a family striving to keep hope alive despite this long suffering.
