Fares’ suffering began more than thirty years ago, following an injury sustained in childhood. Over time, his condition progressively worsened, leading to severe muscular atrophy that completely deprived him of the ability to walk. He now lives with multiple chronic illnesses, including hypertension, diabetes, and cardiac complications, all of which require ongoing treatment and continuous care. Despite his fragile health, he continues to earn a modest living by selling tissues from his wheelchair in an effort to support himself. Fares is in need of assistance to secure his treatment, meet his basic needs, and ease the burden of his daily hardship.
