Retaj is a child from Al-Hasakah, born on January 1st, 2013. She is a kind girl who loves reading and learning. Retaj was not able to live her childhood like other children because she lost her father in 2017, when she was only four years old. Her mother remarried and left her under the care of her aunt and grandmother. They all live together in a tent that is not suitable for the cold winter or the hot summer in one of the camps in Azaz. Retaj doesn't have a provider, and her family depends on some humanitarian aid from local organizations. Our girl dreams of continuing her education and becoming a teacher for future generations.
