On May 22, 2013, Abdullah was born in the war-torn city of Gaza. His childhood has been marred by conflict and blockade. Like thousands of other children in his city, Abdullah lost his father to the bombings at a young age, forcing him and his family to endure the hardships of orphanhood, displacement, and the brutal realities of war. Despite it all, Abdullah is a talented child who loves soccer and dreams of becoming an engineer when he grows up.
