The brutality of the occupation deprived Wael of his dearest family members, as his father and mother were martyred in the intense bombings that turned their home and the neighborhoods of Gaza to rubble. Now, Wael and his two siblings have only their grandfather, whose heart breaks every time he sees his orphaned grandchildren. He struggles to provide for them amidst the blockade and dire economic conditions, where the tragedy worsens daily with insufficient aid. They desperately need someone to support them, show them compassion, and save them from imminent danger.
