Shahed, born in Gaza on 11/29/2012, lives like many children a life full of displacement, bombing, fear, despair, instability, and loss. She lost her source of support and breadwinner and along lost affection and security and was stripped of all her dreams and ambitions. Shahed was injured in her legs and hands during the war; she now lives with her sister and grandfather in a rented house. Despite all the dire circumstances, Shahed continues her education and aspires to become a successful engineer. Let us be the light that illuminates her future.
