Illness prevented him from fleeing, and bullets took his life. This is the story of Bayan’s father, who, weakened by leukemia, was unable to escape with his family during the assault on their area. He tried to flee from sniper fire but couldn’t because of his illness, and was instantly martyred by gunshots.
