Karim, a young boy from Gaza born on July 7, 2016, lives with his mother and siblings in his grandfather’s home after being repeatedly displaced by war. He dreams of becoming a doctor one day to ease the suffering of others. Through drawing, he captures his innocent dreams despite the hardships around him. When the war broke out, Karim’s family moved from place to place, fleeing relentless bombings. One day, their apartment was hit, leaving everyone injured. His mother was rushed to intensive care but, by God’s grace, she recovered. Tragically, his father couldn’t endure the harsh circumstances and passed away from a sudden heart attack, leaving the family without a provider. Now, Karim’s mother fights to secure a dignified life for her children, drawing strength from her son’s ambitions and her hope for a brighter tomorrow.
