After narrowly escaping the bombing, Amjad’s family decided to flee to Lebanon in search of safety, but they found none. Amjad lost his father and sister in an Israeli airstrike, and he and his mother sustained serious injuries, including multiple fractures, splenectomy, and part of his liver. The young boy, along with the rest of his surviving family, returned to their city, where they now live in a worn-out tent, facing difficult health and living conditions.
