Geschichte
Amina lives with her family, displaced from Deir ez-Zor to Jisr al-Shughur after losing everything they owned to the war.
A bombing near their home when she was a child was the turning point in her life: after that shock, she developed juvenile diabetes, and insulin became a constant, non-negotiable part of her days and her future.
Amina needs insulin, blood sugar test strips, and vitamins continuously. But her family depends entirely on humanitarian aid and cannot regularly cover the cost of her treatment — especially after her father had to stop working because of his psychological condition. Amina’s health stability is directly tied to the availability of her medicine. Any interruption in her treatment puts her life and her future at serious risk.
Let us be a true safety net for Amina — to secure the treatment that protects her life and allows her to grow up with health, dignity, and hope.
