Mohammad, born in 2018, lost his father in an airstrike in Maarrat al-Nu’man when he was just one year old. Amid forced displacement, the family moved to Idlib. After his mother remarried, he and his brother went to live with their widowed grandmother in a modest home lacking even the most basic necessities. Now in first grade at Mulham School, Mohammad carries in his heart the dream of education as his path toward a better future.
