Education, a Luxury or a Necessity?
Everything would have been different, if the little homeless orphaned child who got used to begging for money, got a chance to learn how to say no and how to write a full sentence. If only he got a chance to explore poetry, chemistry, or languages..
The life of the young man who sells fruits on a small stall to provide for his siblings would have been entirely different, if he was given a chance complete his degree in engineering, nursing, or literature.
Looking at the reality of tents, displacement, hunger, and sickness, one might consider that education as a luxury or a secondary need in comparison to essentials. But the fact remains that education is the only tool to transform reality, to build the future, and to achieve self-sufficiency.
Education is often overlooked by many, but in Molham Team it remains a priority. In 2020, we were able to provide assistance to 1192 university students. We also worked on renovation of schools, distribution of school kits, and continued running our educational projects.
