More than in the picture, Tariq's pain and hope!

“The child melts in front of his parents” This is the description that comes to mind when you see Tariq for the first time. Tariq suffers from a dermatological genetic disease that's called cutaneous porphyria. He had severe facial and finger ulcers. Tariq couldn't play under the sun, because his condition worsens and keeps him away from his childhood. Thus, children like Tariq who have this disease are in pain and could have psychological problems.

Tariq currently lives in Syria, which presented an extra challange besides his medical condition due to poverty and being displaced for multiple times. His father cannot afford Tariq's treatment and is very concerned about his son's health. 

After publishing Tariq's case, he received many generous donations that helped him relocate into a better house and secure his basic essentials. With your monthly sponsorship, his family can finally afford medications for both Tariq's and his brother, who suffers from the same disease.

We always receive painful pictures of many children suffering from various skin diseases. We hope to continue supporting all the children who have these cases in Syria.
