The First Quarter - 2021
Time flies and the first quarter of 2021 is over now! Looking back into the details that made this time unforgettable, we share this report that shed the light on some of our achievements.
Humanitarian Dases Department
- 542 humanitarian cases that were posted on the website were fully secured.
- 313 cases were secured through the campaigns launched by the department (Wishes 3 - Living Expenses - Razan Fund for Cancer - Palestine)
- 224 humanitarian cases were secured within the project of Molham Center for Physiotherapy
- Total number of sponsored families: 193 families
- Total incoming donations: 337,466$.
Medical Cases Department
- 674 medical cases were assisted.
- Total number of ongoing medical sponsorships:145
- Three medical projects continue to run, including the Medical Point in Aziz Housing Complex - Barisha medical point - Ambulance.
- Total incoming donations: 373,554$.
Campaigns Department
The campaigns that were implemented included ( Food Aid for the Poor - Emergency Campaign: Refugee Camp Fire - Sudan is Deep in our Hearts - Water for IDPs - Sanitary Services for Camps - Give Warmth 14 - A Loaf Of Bread - Zakat Al-Mal - Emergency Response: Arsal Refugee Camps).
- Total incoming donations: 554,370$.
Sponsorship Department
- 602 orphans were sponsored.
- The number of sponsored orphans reached 2383 orphans.
- Total incoming donations: 316,341$.
- Molham Orphanage in Beqaa, Lebanon hosts a total of 28 persons consisting of orphans and their relatives, in addition to the staff.
- Molham Orphanage in Azaz hosts 56 persons consisting of orphans and their relatives, in addition to the staff.
- Molham Home for Widows hosts 58 people of orphans and their mother.
- Total incoming donations for the three care homes: 64,208$.
Education Department
- The number of sponsored students reached 268 university students.
- The Languages Home in Idlib serves 254 students.
- Molham Kindergarten in Al-Bab serves 85 children.
- Molham School serves 265 students.
- 353 students attend Molham School in Arsal.
- Molham School for Orphans in Idlib accommodates 210 students.
- Total incoming donations: 94,664$.
Molham Events Department
- 305 events were implemented in the first quarter of 2021.
- The events varied between birthdays, Aqiqa, Sacrifice, marriage celebrations, Baby birth, parties, and vows.
- The events were implemented in Lebanon, Syria, and Turkey.
- Total incoming donations: 139,097$.
Shelter Department
- In this quarter of the year, we have finalized construction works in the second building in Molham Village. This building includes 24 apartments into which we will relocate displaced families during Ramadan. We also plan to finish the cladding of the third building so that by June 2021, more than 66 apartments will be ready to host displaced families.
- Construction works are ongoing to complete more than 320 housing units in Azaz by October 2021.
- 120 new housing units are being built in Latakia countryside and are to be completed within a maximum of 3 months.
