The filmmakers of FOR SAMA wish to turn the incredible worldwide reaction to the film into positive action for people living in opposition- controlled areas of Syria. With no end in sight to the attacks in Idlib, the Syrian medics, healthcare workers and civil society organisations leading the humanitarian response need all the support they can get. This is particularly acute as foreign governments’ funding to Syria decreases year on year, while the needs grow ever greater.
