Starting from the beginning of Ramadan, we collect Zakat Al-Fitr which is then distributed to the displaced people in the last week of Ramadan and until the Eid Al-Fitr prayer. This Zakat can also include food items (rice, lentil, groats .. etc). Last year, the donations exceeded $187K and were distributed among 15,000 displaced families.
