Hussein (born in 1979), lost his house in addition to his lower limbs as a result of the bombing of the countryside of Damascus. He then was displaced with his family to Maarrat Misrin in Idlib. Today, he lives with his wife, children, and his old mother in a very simple rented house that lacks many of the basics. Hussein, because of his injury, is unable to work. His wife works as a handmaid to provide for her family. Hussein's dream is to be able to move on his own without having to rely on anyone. He wishes to have an electric wheelchair.
