Monzer is a father of four, he was injured in his left thigh after an airstrike targeted his house; he underwent several operations and had a metal plate placed but this caused further severe infections to appear. After removing the plate and strengthening the breakage, he is now in need of urgent surgery. Due to the displacement, inability to work and the difficult living and financial situation he is in made him unable to secure the surgery costs.
