Khawla looks after her four-year-old niece, whose father has recently died. Despite the challenging conditions that surround Khawla's family, she made the decision to raise and take care of her niece. The oldest of Khawla's four other children, who is 16 years old, works in a sewing workshop to provide for his impoverished family. Khawla's husband was injured in the foot due to a bombing and is no longer able to stand on his feet. There are responsibilities and daily needs that must be met, but the son's salary is not sufficient for all the needed expenses.
