Hanan's family lives in a two-bedroom rental house. The house consists of two small rooms that are occupied by six people. Hanan’s husband was involved in a car accident that resulted in a detached retina injury and therefore is unable to work. Hanan’s son left school to work, but he too suffered an injury in his body and is unable to work as well. The family lives on borrowing money from people and borrowing food from the grocery store.
