After Salwa was displaced from Saraqib and two of her children were martyred, she was forced to live in a rented house in one of Idlib's villages. Salwa suffers from diabetes, and following all the traumas she went through in a poor social and financial situation, her health deteriorated. She suffers from corneal detachment in her left eye and needs an urgent vitrectomy before she completely loses her left eye sight.
