Shahoud was the pillar of the house and its only breadwinner, but he found himself suddenly ill visiting doctors to look for a cure in order to support his elderly father and sick mother. He was referred to Turkey for proper treatment, but the earthquake disaster delayed it. The family used to live of his income, and he is no longer able to work.
