Darwish is in his late forty and is the head of his family, living inside Syria. During a military air raid and after his house was shelled, he suffered from leg injury, which led to bone fragmentation and shortening down to 10-centimeter, as well as an abdominal injury. His wife also suffered the amputation of her feet and an injury to her shoulder. The family suffers from extremely tragic living conditions, living in a semi-destructed house and being under besiege, suffering the lack of food and medication and the father's inability to work or support his family because of his injuries, The family desperately need help to secure the cost of food and medication.
